Series of TYPO3 Video Tutorials for Editors

A couple of years ago we published a series of video tutorials for editors in TYPO3 version 4.2 which is meanwhile obsolete. Since we received positive feedback for these videos long after the support for this version had ceased, we continue offering it here for direct watching or free downloading.

The series is also a very good help for newer versions of TYPO3 - especially up to Long-Term Support (LTS) version 4.5, which is occasionally still in use although it has neither been maintained for a long time. Between these versions there are only slight differences in frontend editing and some backend views that we show in an additional video about version differences. Even for more recent LTS versions the video series can still be useful clarifying detail questions or making it easier to get started working with CMS TYPO3. Even though the backend views and some of the functions have changed in the course of the software's further development, many basic principles are still the same.

The training series consists of 21 consecutive videos, each one taking approximately 5 to 8 minutes. They impart slowly and step-by-step the knowledge a TYPO3 editor needs for daily work. Parallel to watching the videos, you can practice working with TYPO3 directly on our adequately set-up TYPO3 test web site.

TYPO3 is a very versatile content management system which often offers different ways to accomplish a working step. In the training videos, we normally show only one editing option - the one we consider the easiest to learn.

Presently, the video tutorials are available in two languages: English and German. The German videos can be found in the German version of typo3-websites.eu (just click on the flag below).
